Biography
Born in Nevşehir at 1923. In midschool taken lessons from his Painting teacher Kemal Zeren. Later he entered to Academy. Graduated from High Painting Department with first place. Went to Paris at 1948. First started to work in Lhote workshop then started to Legernin workshop. When he returned to country he’s assigned to Academy as an assistant. Went to Paris again at 1963. Learned stained glass and goblen carpet weaving. Became a professor at 1970. Elected as president of İstanbul Academy of Fine Arts. In artists paintings Anatolian nature and living trails are influent. These trails are told in half changed shapes and opaque colors.
