Biography
Born in Görele at 1911. In midschool became a student of Zeki Kocamemi. He entered to Academy of Fine Arts and studied at Nazmi Ziya Güran workshop. Later he went to Paris two times. Studied at Andre Lhote Workshop for one year at 1937. Same year he started to work in Academy as a education employee. At 1947 he opened a workshop carrying his name. Artists painting full of enthusiasm, folk art which he sees as neverending, helped him to create unique artworks. Artist is interested in Anatolia and Anatolian people, take their designs and composed it to oilpaintings, engravements, mosaic and seramic.
