Biography
Born in İstanbul at 1907. Graduated from National Academy of Fine Arts at 1930. Taken lessons from Mehmet Ruhi, Nazmi Ziya, Avni Lifij and Hikmet Onat. Married with Şemsettin Arel at 1935. Went to Paris at 1949. Studied in Andre Lothe Academy. Graduated with alpha degree from Paris Alliance Fraçaise School. Worked as Painting teacher in Saint Benoit Girls School. Artist considering figurative patterns as most important, developed her art connected to surface painting’s aestetich values.
